I know what yopu mean to not feeling feminine slapping on some of the creams the doctor gave me. I even tried to cheat and brought a big tub of the white musk body lotion from the body shop which smells lovely but my skin soon protested! So i now what you do Rosie, slap on the diprobase on the effected areas and dove on the rest...seems to be working for me!

Aveeno is great too, and even the knock-offs you can buy at drugstores, etc - oatmeal works well for me. I use Aveeno wash in the shower too.
I love Aveeno stuff. I use the wash as bubble bath.

I have used Moisturel with much success, but it is a tad expensive. Aveeno is great too, and even the knock-offs you can buy at drugstores, etc - oatmeal works well for me. I use Aveeno wash in the shower too.
Now though for moisturizing I just use Johnson and Johnson. I figure if it s mild enough for a baby it s gotta be ok for me, right? I was using the 24 hour moisture, also used the milk lotion, and now I m onto the nighttime lotion that has lavender in it. I like how it smells.

Yeah, Bath and Body Works stuff is especially harsh if you are sensitive to any perfumes. Which sucks since it s so yummy smelling!!! : (

. They are not scented, and keep things moist and calm.
I do love the pretty smelling stuff, though, and sometimes I m not careful enough. I bought a whole bunch of stuff in the States from Bath and Body Works. It all smells divine, but it seems to make me itchy

Gentle Naturals Baby Eczema Cream is my favorite. It is SUPER SUPER thick, but not really greasy, and has a really really fresh scent (I don t know what they use for the scent so definitely read the tube before trying). But it s the thickness of the cream that I like, coupled with not smelling like you ve had to use moisturizer. You don t need much, so it lasts a good long time.

thanks for the info Peter. xx
The only one i ve found to be excellent is Doublebase and Epiderm. But even though these are supposedly fragrance free , there is a smell to them which doesnt make me feel feminine after a nice shower or bath! I tend to put those on the trouble areas and then treat the normal skin to a slathering of Dove body lotion, which is just gorgeous!!!
