Here is a good article on your Sisters condition, it seems more a psychological condition, you say she is on meds, maybe this appointment may help.  Please let us know the outcome of the appoitment.

Thank you Peter.  I joined to see if there's any help for my sister.  She is suffering from a condition called "psychogenic excoriation or neurotic excoriation."  She first had a hair pulling compulsion with anxiety.  Now it has turned into an intense itch of her skin.  She scratches until it bleeds.  She has been on anti-anxiety meds and also anti depressants..no help.
She is going to NYC today for more help.  Anyone have any suggestions? Thank you so much.
