If you want to direct someone to something on another website, here s how to do it:
First, include a link to the article or discussion.
Assume everything is copyrighted unless you know for sure that it can be distributed freely.
If you d like to include some of the text, then you need to follow "fair use" guidelines. You may not quote an entire article or a substantial amount of the text. For a longer article, a paragraph ot two may be fine; for a shorter article make sure you re only using a minimal quote. For anything longer, get permission from the copyright holder in writing and note in your post that you have permission to use it.
